Dress up the family and join us for this super sweet event! We are excited to announce that the PTA is once again hosting our much-anticipated Trunk or Treat event. To make it a spooktacular success, we need your help!
What will happen at the Trunk or Treat?
For those of you who are new to our school or didn’t attend last year, our Trunk or Treat is a safe and festive Halloween event where families gather in our school parking lot, decorate their car trunks, and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Some cars will have games, we’ll play music, and students will vote on the winning trunk. The event is scheduled from 2–4 PM on October 27th, but it may end early if we run out of candy. Last year, we had a great turnout and expect the same again this year! This event is weather permitting.
How Can You Help?
To make this event as sweet as possible, we kindly ask for candy donations from our wonderful parents. Your contribution will go a long way in ensuring that every child leaves with a smile and a bag full of treats.
Donation Details
- We are accepting all types of individually wrapped candies and treats.
- Please ensure that all donations are in unopened, factory-sealed packaging for safety–please no homemade treats.
Drop-Off Location
You can drop off your candy donations in the school’s lobby starting now until October 25th. Students can be on the lookout to feed our candy monster, Filmore!
Want to Decorate a Trunk?
If you’d like to get even more involved, sign up to decorate a trunk and hand out candy! Spaces are limited, so sign up today to ensure you get a spot! We ask that each car bring at least two large bags of candy (250+ pieces total), and we will pass out candy donations the day of the event to add to your supply.
