Foxy Fund Run: 2024 Class Competition Update #3

Welcome to our weekly update on the Foxy Fund Run, our school’s biggest fundraiser of the year! We’re excited to share our progress and remind everyone about the ongoing class competition. Your contributions are making a huge difference in supporting our school community.

Fundraising Progress

Thanks to your generosity, we have raised $9,713 so far, reaching 40% of our $24,000 goal! We’re well on our way, but we still need your help to reach the finish line. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Class Competition Rules

Don’t forget about the exciting Class vs. Class competition happening this year! The winning class in each grade will earn an extra PE session during a future school week–a reward that’s sure to get the kids excited!

To ensure fairness across all class sizes, we are calculating each class’s Average per Student donation by dividing the total funds raised by the number of students. This helps level the playing field, so every class has a shot at winning.

Class Competition Current Standings

As of 1:10 pm today (10-07-24), the classes from each grade with the highest Average per Student donation are:

• Kindergarten– Sokol with $56.50 per student
• 1st Grade– Harrison with $23.10 per student
• 2nd Grade– Sample with $42.50 per student
• 3rd Grade– Wells with $39.04 per student
• 4th Grade– Stauffer with $18.75 per student
• 5th Grade– Abbott with $20.96 per student

PTA Funds in Action

The money raised during the Foxy Fund Run helps fund PTA events throughout the year, reimburses teacher expenses, and supports major school purchases like technology upgrades and supplies. Your contributions have a direct impact on improving our children’s school experience.
