Foxy Fund Run: 2024 Class Competition Update #1

We’re off to an amazing start with the Foxy Fund Run! In just one week, we’ve already raised 17% of our $24,000 goal. Thank you to everyone who’s contributed so far–let’s keep the momentum going!

Class Competition Rules

As a reminder, we are facilitating a Class vs. Class fundraising competition for each grade this year. The winning class in each grade will earn an extra PE session during a future week of school.

To determine the winning class, we are averaging the total funds raised by each class with the class’s number of enrolled students to get an Average per Student donation. This allows us to compare classes of different sizes more fairly.

Class Competition Current Standings

As of 11:35 am today (09-20-24), the classes from each grade with the highest Average per Student donation are:

• Kindergarten– Sokol with $38.75 per student
• 1st Grade– Harrison with $6.67 per student
• 2nd Grade– Sample with $17.73 per student
• 3rd Grade– Wells with $13.08 per student
• 4th Grade– Stauffer with $8.75 per student
• 5th Grade– Abbott with $12.69 per student

Again, these are the current standings (not final), and there are many more weeks of fundraising time. Fundraising for the Foxy Fund Run will continue until October 25th, 2024, so there’s plenty of time for other classes to take the lead. Don’t give up if your class isn’t in the lead today! PTA Funds in Action

The Foxy Fund Run is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the funds raised to support all of the PTA Events throughout the year, reimbursements for teacher expenses, and financial support for major purchases for the school.

How You Can Help

1. Encourage your children to reach out to family and friends for donations.
2. Share our fundraising page on your social media accounts.
3. Consider making a personal donation if you haven’t already.
